Celflux New Trailer Sneak Peek

We here at Celflux have been very busy working behind the scenes on a lot of stuff. A lot of it we can’t share yet but much of it is simply ensuring that we do the foundation work and improve Celflux as a product. Our work is based on the feedback that we’ve received from our fans and those who have shown us love by supporting Celflux financially and with a like, share or shoutout on various social networks. When we started this journey, we had no idea that folks would fall in love with Okira or the Celflux story, and it’s been a learning journey for us and we’ve enjoyed it every step of the way. Today we do have something to share, and that’s a sneak peek of Celflux’s new trailer.

We’ve been wanting to create a new trailer for Celflux for some time now, and we wanted to make it more special than the last one. For the last Celflux trailer, we used a motion comic style.

First Celflux Trailer:

To the end of that trailer, we had a fully animated scene of Samantha flying past the screen. That was a tease of how we wanted the next Celflux trailer to look. Like many children of the 80s I’ve always had a fond place in my heart for 80s cartoons. In fact, they were some of my early inspirations that started me on my path to a career in the creative field. Last time when we were about to release Celflux issue no.2 I did a few articles about those said inspirations in which I mentioned a few names most people would be familiar with.

So I’ve always wanted to have an animated trailer in the style of the 80s cartoon intros. This is easier said than done though, because animation, contrary to popular belief, is a very involved and difficult process. Not to mention expensive. It takes large teams, countless hours of work to produce just 30 seconds of animation. With this it would be just me. Also, animation is a skill. A talent. Not any and everyone can do it. But I wanted this trailer, so I decided to embark upon the task of making it happen. So I did the research. I watched countless tutorials and documentaries. After a few months, I still was no where near qualified to create a second of animation. But you know what, I did it anyway. The trailer isn’t done yet, but I thought I would share a sneak peak today and get some feedback from the Celflux fans. So let us know what you think in the comments. We would really appreciate it.

I should stress:

ROUGH SNEAK PEEK. THIS IS NOT THE COMPETE VERSION.

Spread the love
